You can edit both base views and custom views to give you the most flexibility with how you want to display your data.

This article explains:

How to edit a base view

Editing a base view works a little differently from editing a view that you created. Base views are default, pre-populated views that Anvyl creates and you cannot delete or modify them. To add or remove columns or change the applied filters in a base view, you’ll need to clone it to save your changes. For more, check out Clone a view.

When you make changes to a base view, only brand users on the same team can see your changes. Suppliers and 3rd Party Collaborators don’t have access to see the views you create so they will not see your changes. Likewise, if your Suppliers and 3rd Party Collaborators edit a base view, it won’t affect your brands.

To edit a base view:

  1. Open a base view from the left navigation panel.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • Click Columns to add or remove columns or change their order and click Save.

    • Click Filters to add another filter or remove an existing one.

    • Click Hide Aggregates in the top-right corner to remove all summary columns.
    • Click the arrow next to Rows per page to change the number of rows that appear on the page.

    • Click the down arrow next to the column name to re-sort or remove a column.
  3. Click Clone in the top-right corner and type a new name.
  4. Click SAVE to save your new cloned view.

How to edit a custom view

After you either clone a view or create a new custom view, you can define the data you want to see in it.

To edit a custom view:

  1. Open a view from the navigation panel.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • Click Columns to add or remove columns or change their order and click Save.

  3. Click Save in the top-right corner.
Note: If you’re creating a new view or cloning an existing one, you’ll need to type a new name.
  4. Click SAVE to confirm your changes.
