Milestone Key Dates

Key dates are out-of-the-box or custom date fields created for orders managed in Anvyl.

To set a milestone key date, you can choose any order-level standard (Anvyl-owned) date fields or any custom order-level date fields. 

When you choose a key date, the milestone owner will be asked to fill out the date value for that field. For example:

• Milestone: Production Start
• Milestone Key Date: Production Start Date
• Key Date Value: 12/28/2028

Then, on the key date value, Anvyl will send automated emails to ask the milestone owner to confirm or reschedule the milestone. Using the example above:

• On 12/28/2028, we will send an email to the supplier (milestone owner) and ask them to confirm whether production has started or not.
