Access for a third-party collaborator
Third-party collaborators are different from Team members in that a collaborator will not have full access to all of the team's purchase orders, suppliers, and parts.
When to invite a third-party collaborator
A third-party collaborator will only have access to the purchase order he or she was invited to collaborate on. Examples of when to use collaborators are listed below:
- Invite a freight forwarding collaborator to a specific order that you need to collaborate on for a shipment.
- Invite a finance representative to a specific order that has details about a PO change for invoice reconciliation.
- Invite an auditor as a collaborator for a specific purchase order that has the supplier or part you would like audited.
