Tags allow brands to define and categorize the part that is in their library and eventually ordered against.

When you add Tags to your Parts, additional filtering, reporting, and categorization functionalities will help you stay more organized in the future. These are all accessible in the Parts views

For example, you may wish to tag a certain part as Primary Packaging or Holiday 2023 or Finished Good.

Because part tags are custom and set by the user, you can use part tags to identify a part by anything you wish. Some popular ways to categorize your parts using tags include:

  • Product line
  • Product category
  • Differentiation between core vs. specialty SKUs
  • Scents or flavors
  • Time-based promotional parts
  • Holiday-themed parts

Note: When adding new Parts that require a Tag, start typing and our system will automatically show previously used Tags with those letters.
