Why are golden samples and proof approvals needed?

It is highly important to establish quality standards for both the manufacturer and brand on first production and subsequent runs. Because there have usually been numerous samples produced, we recommend mailing and approving the final sample to eliminate the possibility of deviation from the manufacturer in producing the incorrect version.

The manufacturer will be able to align on TOPS from current runs and check against the golden sample. On the receiving end, brands can also check for quality against the approved version.
