The Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) is a unique two-four-letter code designed to identify the vessel carrier of an incoming shipment. The SCAC can be found preceding the container number specified on the Bill of Lading (BOL). If you do not have a copy of a BOL, request this information from your freight forwarder and/or supplier. Here’s a list of carrier codes that we support. If you cannot locate your carrier code, this may be a reason why the shipment tracking is rendering an error.
