A purchase order is a legally binding contract between the supplier and buyer. To legally import goods into the United States, a proper legal address needs to be provided to allow for a successful customs clearance and entry. All formal invoices should also include your proper business name which includes any formal entity name and a d.b.a (doing business as).
Before you issue your first purchase order, please confirm that the business name and address on the purchase order letterhead is accurate.
- When logged into Anvyl, click on the top right Avatar > Company Settings.
- Click on the Team Name that you wish to update the business address for.
- Click the Team Info tab.
- Update the address fields.
- Click Save.
